Sub:- Video Conference of Principal Secretary-on 8.05.2008- regarding.

The Principal Secretary, Local Self Government Department will be holding a Video Conference with Project Directors of Poverty Alleviation Units on 8.05.2008 from 10.30 A.M to 12.30 Noon. You are requested to be present for the Video Conference at the District NIC Centre.
You are also requested to request the District Collectors to make available the Video Conferencing facility in the District NIC Centre for your use.
The following items will be discussed in the conference.

(1) BPL Census

(2) SGRY

(3) IAY Completion of spill over Houses

(4) Suggestions for restructuring DRDA
The specific points on which information may be sought in the conference are indicated below:

I. BPL Census (Refer this office letter No.22634/I&D1/02/CRD


A) Information regarding deletion of the name of ineligible families.
(1) No. of Panchayats in which the VEO/LVEO's have prepared and
submitted the list of ineligible families to the Panchayats.

(2) No. of families proposed to be deleted in the list so prepared.

(3) No. of Panchayats in which the list of ineligible has not yet been

prepared.

(4) The probable date of completion of preparation of the list of

ineligible families in the remaining Panchayats.

(B) Information regarding the applications received for inclusion in

the list/regarding revision of marks received by Panchayats.


(1) Total no. of applications received.

(2) Whether the names of officials for enquiring in to the applications

for inclusion/ revision of marks have been decided in all
Panchayats.

(3) No. of applications in which enquiry have been completed.

(4) No. of Panchayats in which enquiry have been completed in all

applications.

(5) No. of Panchayats which had fixed the Grama Sabha meetings.
